China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP)      China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP) is one of the key 863 Projects established in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park of Pudong New Area by Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC. With the assistance from MSTPRC and Shanghai municipal government, CEISIP has developed rapidly by implementing the policy of “Develop and open Shanghai Pudong” and strategy of “Focus on Zhangjiang”. CEISIP is one of the three national information security industry bases, and also one of the four industry bases in Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. It pools the most excellent domestic talents, technology and resources in field of information security to drive the establishment of China Information Security System. In December 2005, the base is accredited National Hi-Tech Innovation Service Center by Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC. CEISIP has a featured soft environment adapted to Information Security industry. It sets up an information security service platform and provides information security market opportunities, business services and information security training as well as information security technology, product public demonstration and pilot service. It also provides complete 9 categories of total 19 items of intermediate service including capital service, science and technology service, training, human resources service, etc.     China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP) will set up a first-class information security industrialized system comprising R&D, manufacturing, assessment and authentication, talents training, marketing of the information security technology and product by means of multiplex investment, technology innovation, industrialization, incubation and application service of enterprises, striving to make the Base the biggest information security center, information security innovation incubation center and information security industry center in China.     China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP), with over four-year construction, has gradually developed its own brand, fully integrated resources and pooled large quantity of projects and capital from China, Delta area of Yangzi River and Shanghai, thus promoting the industrialization of information security products. The organizations and enterprises in CEISIP by the end of 2005 have undertaken 32 key national and Shanghai municipal information security R&D projects in total, 5 of which are 863 Projects, 16 are national key science and technology projects, 11 are local projects. CEISIP warmly welcomes all people committed to the exploitation of China information security industry to cooperate and communicate with the Park and together witness the success of China information security industry with the Park.

China Eastern Information Security Industry Park (CEISIP) as planned will cover an area of 28.31 ha. and be functionally divided into several zones, i.e. Technical Innovation Zone, Talents Training Zone, Incubation and Industrialization Zone, and Sculpture Park Zone.     Three Hi-Tech intelligent buildings with an area of 15,660m2 in Incubation and Industrialization Zone have been completed and already put into use. There are 68 big information security companies have already been established in the Base by the end of 2005. The Incubation and Industrialization buildings soon to be completed with an area of 30000 m2 will surely attract more information security companies. The Incubation and Industrialization Zone will be a hub for information security enterprises.     In the Technical Innovation Zone, there are three national R&D centers, i.e. National 863 Project National Computer Network Intrusion Protection Center, National Information Security Engineering Center (NISEC) and National High Performance IC (Shanghai) Design Centre. In addition, CNITSEC Shanghai Center and Shanghai Center for Computer Virus Protection is going to move in the Base. The Technical Innovation Zone will become a hub for information security technology based on such R&D institutes and companies.     The Talents Training Zone, developed around Shanghai Jiaotong University Information Security Engineering School----a national information security training base----has become an information security talent pool.     The Sculpture Park at the center of the Base, designed by famous city sculptor-米丘 with total area of 22 thousand m2 is a great scenery of Pudong and Zhangjiang, which creats an international cultural atmosphere for the Base, encourages the personalization of technology development and focus on the interaction between science and art.       China Eastern Information Security Industry Park Service Platform (hereinafter referred to as Service Platform) starts in operation relying on website http://www.ceisip.com as its key medium on 24th October 2005. The Service Platform incorporating website and WEB database gives introduction to CEISIP, issues base related news, set up user’s mail-box and collect product related information of information security industry via eleven functional modules. Key modules include: Service Providing System Service providing system primarily includes nine types of service: capital service, technical service, training service, information service, marketing service, comprehensive service and Union and Party related service. Search Center The user may search all information of the service platform through the Search Center. It offers five modules, i.e. jointly-owned company, business opportunity, product, information, exhibition, for users’ option to facilitate the query of different type of information. “Company” option provides all information in relation to registered enterprises on the service platform; “Business Opportunity” option provides demand and supply information issued by registered enterprises and the Base; “Product” option provides product information issued by registered enterprises; “Information” option provides all news, circulars and announcement issued by the Base; “Exhibition” option provides all exhibition news issued by registered enterprise and the Base. Enterprise Database The enterprise database so far has collected the information in relation to over 200 information security companies and up to 1000 information security products. The infor-mation security products fall into six categories in enterprise database, and they are “Basic Security Product”,“Host Security Product”, “Gateway Security Product”, “Enhanced Security IT Product”, “Service Providing tools” and “Super-vision and Control Security Product” respectively. Stream Media Laboratory A stream media laboratory is currently being built in cooperation with Shanghai Jiaotong University Information Security Engineering Institution Information Security Assessment System Enterprise information security assessment system enables enterprise to assess the security policy, security organization, asset classification and control, personnel security, physical and environmental security of enterprise online by means of multiple choice questionnaires. This function is still being established and modified and will soon be put into use. Text Message Platform Legal users may send text messages to mobile users of China Mobile and China Unicom, edit personal address list, group-send short messages, and receive the reply from users of China Mobile. Enterprise User Login Registration All company data and product data will be put into the company database over the Service Platform and a sub-website (including foreground display and background management center) of the company will be automatically created once the company registers as a member of the Service Platform. The enterprise user may edit web-pages, including LOGO, company picture, company profile, contact method, etc, displayed at foreground via the background management center, issue detailed introduction to products, provide demand and supply information to facilitate the transaction and trading among enterprises, and issue circulars and introductions of related exhibitions, therefore, other companies can easily acquire such information by browsing the service platform and quickly find desired information via the Search Center.
