Zhangjiang Function Zone launched the first batch of Talents' Apartment in July, 2006 to solve the problem that the white collar in the zone has the difficulties in renting houses. The policy has two necessary requirements for the applications:
1. The application must be the staff of the those companies which have registered and have already settled in the Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park.
2. The application must have bachelor degree and have signed the contract of labour with his or her companies more than one-year.
Any person who has fulfilled the above two requirements could apply the renting and also, will get RMB 200 allowance per month. The leasing contract signed will last for one year. If you need to continue your renting or stop it, you need to complete the working procedure one month in advance. And for continuing renting, in principle, it is only allowed for once and the total lease should not be more than two years.
It is said that the specific plan will be published next month.
